她是位找个适合自己的舒服地方，跟着自己气息歌唱的女声，制作人之一的小仓博和这么形容她。
1981年5月1日横滨出生，3岁开始学钢琴，自我创作，参加舞台、音乐剧演出，目前就读大学四年级的她，拥有清新脱俗的好嗓音与甜美的笑容，还说得一口流利好英文。成为歌手后，一曲 [cry] 远渡重洋，以外国歌手之姿拿下夏威夷no.1电台102.7 da bomb点播第一名，并于当地发行同名 限定单曲。消息传回日本，引起乐界一阵骚动。　
有里知花的嗓音，如海风般透明舒服，她拥有忍不住让人驻足聆听的特质与舒缓听觉的甜美氛围。今年，为了这么一位歌声柔美的甜姐儿，一群顶尖的制作人与艺人决定参与她最新专辑《美丽人生》。专辑除收录3首英文歌之外，值得一提的是，《去见你》被选为20 03年东南亚国协交流(j-asen pops)日本指定曲；此外她更特别翻唱南方之星百万经典《tsunami海啸》，将这首脍炙人口的畅销曲重新更加柔美而隽永动人。
